10 ноября прошла церемония Golden Joystick Awards 2023, на которой были названы лучшие игры последнего года по версии пользователей. Победители традиционно определялись по итогам масштабного голосования, в котором могли принять участие геймеры со всего мира.
Абсолютным триумфатором вечера стала Baldur's Gate 3 — аудитория в один голос назвала её лучшей игрой последнего года. Нашумевшая RPG победила во всех категориях, в которых была представлена — это семь статуэток. При этом Larian Studios назвали лучшей студией.
Критики сделали другой выбор — отдали предпочтение Alan Wake II от Remedy Entertainment.
Самой ожидаемой игрой объявили Final Fantasy VII Rebirth от Square Enix.
